Maleficent and Lana del Rey: Once Upon a Dream

Today I want to show you the last Lana del Rey hit. It's from Maleficent's soundtrack, you know, the next Disney film that tells the story about Sleeping Beauty from Maleficent's point of view.

The song is a beautiful but sinister and haunting cover of the original song of Sleeping Beauty, the 1959 Disney film, 'Once upon a dream'.





As Refinery29 said, Lana del Rey and Angelina Jolie, the new Maleficent's face, stole the show at Grammy Awards with the release of the trailer.

Regarding the soundtrack, I really think Lana del Rey is a great choice. When I first heard of her, I thought she would become another hype, but I'm glad for being wrong. Now, 'Born to die', 'Videogames' and 'Summertime sadness' are some of my favourite songs.

Don't you think this is a real Maleficent-a-like look? I'm a fan of long capes on the red carpet, Altuzarra totally hit the nail here. And dark lipstick is pure beauty-evilness.

And talking about beauty, next summer Mac will launch the make up Maleficent make up collection.

It's not the first time Mac's inspiration is Maleficent. At 2010 the Venomous Villains collections was released, and of course, Maleficent was one of the villains.

Happy New Year! And celebrate with 90s music!

Hi there! This is Natalie, a Spaniard who is currently studying English, and I have created this blog for practising my writing skills.  Here I will be writing about things I like, as fashion, music and pop culture, and above all, pretty things!

Well, let’s start! Today it’s the last day of the year, bye bye 2013!! I hope 2014 will be much better, and I’ll try to do more things, like improving my English, writing a lot –currently I’m running another blog, it’s written in Spanish, and it’s about one of my most loved hobbies, collecting dolls, you can check here: Rock’n’Dollz-, crafting, drawing, sewing… I’ll keep you updated, and I hope these New Year resolutions will be a reality :o)

What about tonight? For me, New Year’s Eve is not a special night, I don’t go to parties and stuff like that. But this last Christmas Eve I was having a fun time with my sister and my boyfriend looking for 90s songs for making a playlist, it was like a little party! So, these days I’ve been completing it, and ta-daaah! Here you have it!
